Clear answers on how your ride can be paid for — before you book.
How can I pay for a CuraTransit ride?
CuraTransit accepts four payment sources: facility contracts, private pay, eligible Michigan auto-accident (no-fault PIP) claims and eligible Michigan Assigned Claims Plan (MACP) cases. Rates depend on distance, ride type, waiting time and trip details. Call 248-320-9092 for a free quote.
Facility Contracts
Hospitals, dialysis centers, rehab and skilled nursing facilities, senior living communities, hospices and clinics can set up a facility contract for recurring or high-volume patient and resident transportation, with direct scheduling and contract pricing.
Set up a facility account →Private Pay
Pay directly for any non-emergency wheelchair or ambulatory ride — no insurance approval needed. Rates vary by distance, ride type, wait time and trip details, and we always quote before you book.
Private-pay guide →Michigan Auto Insurance (No-Fault / PIP)
Injured in a car accident? For eligible auto-accident claims, we coordinate medical transportation with your insurer. Coverage and payment depend on your claim status and benefit verification.
Auto accident transportation →Michigan Assigned Claims Plan (MACP)
We accept eligible MACP cases for accident-related transportation when no applicable auto insurer is available, subject to claim assignment and benefit verification.
MACP transportation guide →Which payment option fits your situation?
| Your situation | How the ride is usually paid |
|---|---|
| Hurt in a Michigan car accident and you have an auto policy (or one applies through a household member) | Auto no-fault (PIP) claim after benefit verification |
| Hurt in a Michigan car accident and no auto policy applies to you | Michigan Assigned Claims Plan (MACP) case, once an insurer is assigned |
| A hospital, dialysis center, rehab facility or senior community is arranging the trip | Facility contract billed to the facility |
| Any other doctor visit, treatment, discharge or personal medical trip | Private pay with a quote before you book |
Michigan PIP medical coverage levels are explained by the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services: Choosing PIP medical coverage (michigan.gov). CuraTransit is a transportation provider and does not give legal or insurance advice.
