Michigan no-fault personal injury protection (PIP) benefits cover allowable expenses for an injured person's care, recovery and rehabilitation, and the State of Michigan lists transportation to and from medical appointments among PIP benefits. The MACP provides no-fault benefits to eligible people hurt in a Michigan auto accident when no auto insurance policy applies to them; an insurer is assigned to handle the claim. CuraTransit accepts eligible MACP cases for accident-related rides after claim assignment and benefit verification.
